TRENDING: In a viral locker-room clip, CJ Stroud appeared visibly annoyed and “salty” as Davis Mills received the game ball. It’s understandable — the backup has stacked three straight wins and is suddenly threatening his starting spot. -T

Everybody assumed that the Houston Texans would fall off a cliff after CJ Stroud suffered a concussion against the Denver Broncos.

On November 2nd, the Houston Texans quarterback had his head bounce off the turf inside NRG Stadium. He has not played a game since.

Stroud, who had issues with the team regarding the offense, finally returned to practice this week, but not in time to play on Thursday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills.

That meant Davis Mills had to play for a third-straight game.

Last night, Mills had 153 passing yards and two touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills. It wasn’t his most efficient game, but he took care of business and willed the team to a third-straight victory while CJ Stroud has been out.

It doesn’t appear that everyone was happy about it.
