New York Jets fans during the Cowboys’ 37–22 win at MetLife Stadium.

The clip, which quickly went viral on social media, showed Jones smiling as he extended his middle finger toward a section of heckling Jets supporters. The gesture lasted only a second — but that was enough to spark outrage across the league.

On Monday evening, the NFL announced a fine of $150,000 against Jones for “conduct detrimental to the league” and “behavior inconsistent with the standards of professionalism expected of ownership.”
